The YUL EAT festival launched, last year, with the goal of bringing together fans of the culinary arts and local cuisine. The festival’s name reinforces the desire to highlight Montreal as a gastronomical force by incorporating the Montreal International Airport – YUL, and marrying it with the abbreviated E.A.T.: E stands for Experience A stands for Appetite T stands of Terroir Festival YUL EAT is proud to showcase participating talents (chefs, specialists, artisans, producers, food critics, artists, and animators) over 3 days. You will have your own personal workstation with all the necessary tools at your disposal, to cook the highest quality meal from A to Z. Speaker Series Chefs, producers, farmers, sommeliers, and food critics are all present for free forums they will share their knowledge and expertise in the form of round tables, demonstrations, and panels. Celebrity Roast Competition Local celebrities put on their chef hats for a friendly cook-off that involves various culinary themes. A jury of three gastronomy professionals will taste and judge the best recipe. Speaker Series Chefs, producers, farmers, sommeliers, and food critics are all present for free forums they will share their knowledge and expertise in the form of round tables, demonstrations, and panels. Waiter Race Waiters and Waitresses from Montreal restaurants compete in a waiter race across the entire YUL EAT site. Come and support your favorite restaurant!
