Festival International de Jazz de Montréal presents

The Harry Manx Band, John Mayall and James Cotton

This unique concert unites the talents of three blues immortals, each with a distinctive signature style that takes this living genre from Mississippi to Mali: Mississippi harmonica wizard James Cotton, British blues godfather John Mayall and multi-instrumentalist Harry Manx, whose blues ranges from India to the Caribbean. Between them, the three legends have 145 years in music, 110 albums and an array of trophies including 7 Maple Blues Awards, 1 Grammy, 1 Lifetime Achievement Award and 1 Officer of the Order of the British Empire… It’s a summit meeting that promises to make Festival blues history!
