On the program: the album Mistico Mediterraneo, released on ECM, hailed for its fascinating melding of wind instruments and vocals, between jazz and ancient music. Opening the evening, Paolo Fresu starts with a musical dialogue with another major horn player on the Italian scene, trombonist Gianluca Petrella.
