Hit singles like “We Gotta Get Out of This Place”, “I’m Crying”, and Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” soon followed. In the mid 1960’s, a series of band member changes led to the band being renamed Eric Burdon and the Animals. Altogether, the group had 10 Top Twenty hits in both the UK and US. In 1994, the Animals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
