Festival International de Jazz de Montreal presents

Ranee Lee Quintet

Featuring String Quartet and other special guests

Singer, actress, author… Ranee Lee is versatility itself. A gifted interpretive singer, THE voice of Montreal jazz brought Billie Holiday to life onstage at the Festival and on the screen, and has collaborated with the likes of Clark Terry, Herb Ellis, Milt Hinton and Oliver Jones. Winner of the 2010 Juno for the album Lives Upstairs, she presents her new one — out this spring on Justin Time Records — with a quintet accompanied by a string quartet!
