Klezmer Craze

Our series introducing artists from Israel ends with Vira Lozinsky and Emil Aybinder’s quartet, performing an evening of Klezmer music. Vivifying the traditional folk music from Eastern Europe, folk singer Vira Lozinsky and the Aybinder Quartet will provide the audience with an exciting and invigorating musical escapade. Vira Lozinsky and the Aybinder Quartet won the 2012 International Jewish Music Competition in Amsterdam. Together, they already performed on various continents, and often play for jazz festivals. Considered as one of best Yiddish singers these days, Vira Lozinsky’s premiere solo performance in Quebec will delight audiences with her pure, warm and soothing voice.
