J’ADORE MOZART

To conclude this 2014 season and carry on the Festival’s tradition, the last concert is a marathon, which of course means an outstanding evening! For the first time in Montreal, all the five Violin Concertos by Mozart will be performed. While playing on his Stradivarius, violinist Cho-Liang Lin will simultaneously conduct a chamber orchestra made of the Canada Council Musical Instrument Bank winners, who will be reunited for the Festival only. To this day, the No. 5 Concerto is still the most famous, and its ultimate notes will allow us to dream and wait till the beginning of our 20th Season, in 2015…
