In 1998, Susie Arioli hit the outdoor stage at the Festival, dazzling the crowd with her heartfelt interpretations of jazz standards. The same year, guitarist Jordan Officer by her side, she was opening for Ray Charles, filling in for Charles Brown at the last minute. Her career has soared since then, along with her growing local and international popularity. After exploring swing, blues, and country leanings on Learn to Smile Again, Susie Arioli revisited jazz standards in 2008 on her fifth album, Night Lights. Her latest All the Way was released in March 2012. Susie and her new band will be performing at Place-des-arts (Theatre de Maisonneuve) on November 22 at 8pm.
